FIT Focus on Integrated Treatment

FIT provides training, support, and consultation to behavioral health providers across New York State seeking to implement integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including tobacco. Our training and technical assistance is based on national evidence-based practice standards covering screening and integrated assessment, stage-wise treatment, motivational interviewing, and more.

IMHATT Program Completion List

Access a list of OMH-licensed programs where at least one staff person has earned an Integrated Mental Health Mental Health/Addictions Treatment Training (IMHATT) certificate. People earn an IMHATT certificate after completing online training modules that include basic, intermediate, and advanced skills in integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders including tobacco dependence.

The ACT Institute prioritizes the health and safety of those we serve. In order to adhere to recommendation of avoiding in person large gatherings, we will host this meeting online in Zoom

SESSION 2: 1 PM – 3 PM

 

**PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS OF THE ONLINE TRAINING ON THE SAME DAY TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THE TRAINING**

 

Prerequisite:

 

1. ACT Promoting Recovery through Mobile, Team-based Approach: Online Course

2. ACT: Engaging Consumers in Assertive Community Treatment

 

How to Register: New staff members must register themselves within the Center for Practice Innovation's Learning Community in order to sign up for training. Team Leaders should forward the self-registration link and instructions they received to all staff requiring training. The link you received is unique to your team and will need to be used to register new hires for ACT training.
