Crisis Response Engagement and Skills Training New York (CRESTNY)

CRESTNY Institute is a statewide crisis workforce development and capacity building initiative focused on:

• Aligning the array of behavioral health crisis services in New York State through a shared set of core values and competencies for crisis care,
• Prioritizing a health led, person-centered centered approach in behavioral health crisis care, 
• Increasing engagement and culturally responsive follow up support for people experiencing behavioral health crises, and
• Ensuring a highly skilled and qualified interdisciplinary crisis services workforce.

This statewide initiative is a collaboration between the New York State Office of Mental Health and the Center for Practice Innovations.
